| Bio: | I'm 33, and a genderqueer parent who finally moved back home to Houston in 2006. Prior to that, I spent several years being somewhat defined by what I do for a living, and hence am not even making further mention of it here. It is NOT who I am.
I went through a mostly monogamous, mostly dominant, mostly lesbian, phase last summer, and it wasn't a bad thing. I'm back to my normal pansexual polyamorous switchy self, but I can't guarantee that series of labels will be static. *shrug* Life changes us, and we have to go with the flow. Thank the Goddess I'm getting better at that!
I couldn't pick a more beautiful, radiant and incredible partner than ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) stephilyn to be building my life with. I love her more with each day that passes, and couldn't ask for more. As of the middle of March '08, we've moved into our first place that will be ours and ours alone without another partner, and we're discovering all over again exactly how beautifully complimentary our tastes are in so many things.
A good friend once pointed out that I am "one of those people who makes incredibly strong emotional connections with many people". I hadn't thought of it that way, but yeah, that's me. I love with my whole heart, and will forgive damn near anything from those I love, but it may take a while. It doesn't take long to win my heart, if you are the right type of person.

I've reached a place in my life where I finally love ME! I'm pretty open about who and what I am in most situations, and have the attitude that if you don't like me, well, you don't need to be here.
I'm open-minded and tolerant of anyone willing to extend the same courtesy to me.
So welcome! My journal is almost exclusively friends-locked. Comment on one of the few public posts if you'd like to be added. Don't take it personally if I don't friend you back immediately. My friends list, despite its size, is mostly composed of people I truly like, and most of them really ARE my friends, family, or both, so I am getting a little picky about adding people to that list at this point.
I do have a bunch of interests that aren't reflected on here for privacy reasons. If you wonder "is she into _____?" feel free to just pipe up and ask. I'm pretty open about my interests with people I know.
